The game is a bit lacking in additional features but a new update released recently tries to change things by adding quite a few features to the game.

Looking forward to it.Kung Fury: Street Rage, the endless game based on the over the top movie by the same name released a while back, is a mindless yet fun arcade inspired game that can entertain players for some time. It's not going to be a remake so much as a retelling and will include Hollywood stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Fassbender as well as some of the original stars. It got so much hype and buzz that they were supposed to make a big budget Hollywood remake of it a couple years ago but only recently has this come to pass. It's full of digital effects and green screen work and has been given a kind of filter that makes it look like an old VHS tape from the 80's complete with tracking errors and missing scenes. They started a kickstarter to make this and as the money kept rolling in the movie got longer and longer. The story behind the scenes was very interesting. It's everything you could ever want in a comedy / action movie. Along the way he's joined by his partners, the technological Hackerman, the dinosaur police officer Triceracop, some viking babes armed with machine guns and the god of thunder himself Thor. He then gains fantastic martial arts powers and uses them to take on the biggest Kung Fu villain of all times. You have Kung Fury, a policeman who's partner was killed he's then hit by lightning while being bitten by a cobra. I haven’t quite hit the top of the built-in leaderboards, but there’s always room for improvement. The A Day at the Beach expansion introduces players to a brand new beat ‘em up adventure featuring a 2 player Co-op mode and all-new levels and boss battles. Kung Fury is a lot of fun and it’s been a game that I’ve been excited to play during any downtime over the past couple days. The story itself is a buddy cop / revenge movie. Based on the Kung Fury film by Laser Unicorns, Kung Fury: Street Rage Ultimate Edition lets you step into the role of 5 playable characters including Kung Fury, Hackerman and David Hasselhoff in a classic wave-based story and endless mode. You get the best of the 80's action movie tropes in one package. Kung Fury is what you get when you take a bunch of ideas from a group of imaginative people and throw a lot of money at them. Not only is it very addictive but it's utterly merciless and gets real difficult real fast. Considering the simplicity you'd think it would be easy but that couldn't be further from the truth. No story, no achievements, no unlocking, no bs - its just. Each enemy type requires a different combination, namely for example 2 attacks for the soldier leaders and forward, back, forward for the stealthy nurses. The gameplay mechanics are basically One Finger Death Punch, yes, but the presentation and execution hits its target perfectly - that of an 80s arcade game where the only thing that matters is relentlessly practicing and beating the high score. Playing as Kung Fury or one of his three friends you survive for as long as you can being besieged by criminals, soldiers, robots and ninjas. The game itself couldn't be any simpler, you have two buttons essentially just being attack left and attack right. In keeping with the retro 80's theme of the movie it looks like an old school arcade title and it really works. Video game adaptations are usually terrible, they're usually barely connected cashgrabs but to its credit Street Rage is far from that. Kung Fury (2015) was a fantastic short, one that was met with critical acclaim so it's not all too surprising that a video game adaptation was created.
